Hello. This is Karen Chava Knox and I am the president of Eden Gardens Community Association (EGCA),  and I was wondering if you could help me? EGCA is a nonprofit located on the eastside in the city of Detroit. Our mission is to improve lives through education, change the mindset, and provide knowledge to increase one’s income, of residents in our community. 

EGCA is in the process of renovating a two story house to become a learning center for children upstairs and adults downstairs. This learning center will also have a therapist for children and adults of trauma. Help returning citizens to stop recidivism in our communities.

To do this we must have a steady stream of income to support our cause. We have two  a ongoing fundraisers that does not cost anyone a dime out their pockets. All we are asking is each person that uses Amazon, simply go to smile.amazon.com to  support our charity and choose Eden Gardens Community Association as your charity. There is no charge to the consumer. Same products, same prices, same services as the Amazon you know. Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price to our organization.

Our goal is to reach 1000 families by the end of 2021. We will use the money to support the learning center. Our second ongoing fundraiser is Kroger. If you have a Kroger card please go to Kroger community rewards and link your card to our charity Eden Gardens Community Association. Same principles applies. No money out your pocket. You will not lose your points and Kroger will donate to Eden Gardens Community Association.
